Five Struct Scholars Announced for 2020
Los Angeles, California - Struct Club and the Women in Fitness Association (WIFA) have partnered to invest in and accelerate the careers of diverse, emerging women in the fitness industry through a new professional development program called Struct Scholars. Following an extensive application and interview process, five (5) inaugural scholars have been selected for 2020 that both organizations believe represent the next generation of inclusive fitness leadership (click to tweet):
Celeste is a Physical Therapy Technician originally from O’ahu Hawaii, currently residing in Denver, Colorado. She is a Balance Yoga and Barre instructor with a degree in Health and Exercise Science from Regis University.
Jasmin is an international student from Switzerland currently attending Madison Area Technical College in Wisconsin. She is an ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor and ACE Sports nutrition specialist. Jasmin is a passionate advocate for holistic living and seeks to accelerate her growth and expertise in the Group Fitness arena.
Leneé has been twice nominated as "Best Barre Instructor" in Best Self Atlanta Magazine and served as a Featured Contributor/Writer for Best Kept Self Magazine. In addition to Barre, Braxton’s fitness expertise includes Polestar, Peak Pilates, Mat Pilates, Spin, and Yoga. She obtained her B.A. in Dance, M.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport Psychology, and is simultaneously pursuing her Ph.D. in Mind-Body Medicine and M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Laura is a CrossFit coach from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, pursuing a Fitness and Wellness Specialist Degree from Madison Area Technical College. She is expected to graduate in May 2020 with a Fitness and Recreation Management Degree and is currently the Recreation Program Specialist for the City of Sun Prairie.
Samantha is currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania, expected to graduate in 2020, where she teaches at Pottruck Gym as a spin instructor. Samantha has completed four half marathons to date and was an avid high school athlete, running cross country and rowing crew.

The scholars have won sponsorship to a year of WIFA Membership and a year of Struct Club Membership, as well as extensive one-on-one mentorship over the course of three months with select luminaries and executives across both organizations’ networks, in addition to Struct Club and WIFA Founders & CEO’s Polack and Lindsey Rainwater personally:
